Open Book Club is an in-person literary community based in New York City, created in 2024. What started as a single invitation to talk about an essay over wine has grown into a community of readers who show up again and again, for literature, and for each other. In 2026, we opened a studio on Bowery. A room that's ours with no time limit, no minimum order, and no reason to leave before we're done discussing. It is where Open Editions began, and it remains the room our list is written for.
